This is an all-day event that lasts for 3 days
All artists and spectators are invited to enjoy the spectacular weekend of artistry in De Smet. All activities are free to the artists and the public. The weekend ends with an art sale, or wet sale, on Sunday morning at the De Smet Event Center. This is the longest running Plein Air event in South Dakota. Learn about techniques and materials from professional demonstrations. Artists of all levels and ages are encouraged to participate. Arrangements can be made for tours of the area prior to the event, if desired.
