Night at the Museum/Lantern Museum Tour

It’s a Night at the Museum, Dacotah Prairie Museum version! For all ages, couples, families, and interested parties. Come dressed in costume*! Staff will give lantern guided tours of the exhibits. As you walk from exhibit to exhibit you might encounter characters that come to life and tell you a story about Brown County history. Hear history from the people who lived it, it might be interesting, scandalous, or downright surprising! Tours begin in the gift shop, start every 20 minutes, and last about 40 minutes. Feel free to shop in the Mercantile before and after your tour. This is a “tour-only” event; the children’s exhibit will not be available during this time. *Costumes should be appropriate for a family-friendly event. Free admission!
