The area is located 8.5 miles to the east of Redfield and sets along the James River.
Fisher Grove State Park has 22 campsites with 30 and 50-amp electrical service, restroom facilities, picnic areas, a playground, fishing areas and a dump and fill station.
Fisher Grove Country Club is a 10 hole golf course that is located to the south of the campgrounds.
