Most recognized for its fishing and water recreation opportunities. It consists of 108 electric campsites, and 6 tent camping cabins.
It's also home to the Lake Poinsett Visitor Center and Museum which showcases artifacts from the area. The exhibit takes you through the lakes history from prehistoric days to the late 1990s.
